Tenant Associations

Are you faced with a landlord that does not follow through on fixing items you or your neighbors complained about for weeks?  Do you want to move but realize your current apartment better meets your financial needs?  Maybe you are new to the apartment complex and want to have a unified voice with your neighbors.  Consider starting a tenant association.

A tenant association is typically a group of individuals who live in a certain building or development. These organizations can have many benefits for renters, such as:

  • Advising tenants of their rights under the law.
  • Lobbying for tenants and tenants' rights.
  • Improving tenant-landlord relations, services and living conditions.
  • Promoting regular communication and community awareness among tenants.
