Renter's Insurance

Whether you own your home or are renting, you face the risk of fire, natural disasters, theft and accidents. Any of these can destroy your possessions and leave you without a place to live. Your landlord may have insurance, but this only protects the building, not your possessions. And, your landlord’s insurance rarely will protect you from personal liability for accidents that you cause.

If you don't have insurance, you may lose everything! If an accident happens to you, even if you're not to blame, there is nothing protecting your belongings unless you have insurance. Even worse, if you are responsible for an accident that causes damage to the property, loss to others, or even causes injury to an individual, you could be held liable.
