Are you looking for ways to get help paying your energy bills? Funds are available through various federal programs and local utility companies.  Community Action Agencies and other local organizations manage these funds to help qualifying customers pay their energy bills.

To apply for help, contact the United Way Information and Referral Hot line (2-1-1) or the United Services Community Action Agency:

In addition, the City of Kansas City, Missouri runs the federal Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program.  This program provides help weatherizing a home to reduce utility bills. To apply for this program, contact the
